Whether you are always on the road or your building is positioned on the sunny side of the street, you may find that your graphics become covered in dirt, grime, and other contaminants. Fortunately, graphics from our sign company in Sarasota are incredibly easy to clean! Below are three easy ways to remove a variety of hard-to-clean substances from your SignZoo graphics.
Removing Tar, Oil, and Diesel Smut
When traveling to and from homes, your fleet will inevitably pick up some tar, oil, and other bituminous materials. To properly clean them off of your graphics, take a damp rag covered with kerosene, mineral spirits, heptane, or VM & P naphtha and wipe down the contaminated spots. Be sure to wash with soap and water immediately and then rinse clean.
Removing Pollen and Fungus
If your window graphic is covered with pollen or various fungi, you can quickly clean it off using a 3-5% full-strength bleach solution or mild detergent and water. Be sure to rinse the graphic with clean water immediately after using the solution and your window graphic should once again appear fresh and brand new.
